The Center for Natural and Applied Sciences (CENAS) is a nonprofit making organization established in 2017 by a team of young and experienced scientists. The main aim of this organization is to conduct research on multidisciplinary fields in Natural and Social Sciences.
Besides research activities, empowering girls/women and youth by performing several capacity building activities is also our main motto.
Legal Entity: CENAS (Registration Number: 178645/074/075) is registered in Office of the Company Register, Kathmandu, Government of Nepal under the category of not distributing profit.
To conduct research on the field of Plant and Animal Science, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Biodiversity, Medicinal Plants, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Forestry, Agriculture, Veterinary, Food and Nutrition.
To explore unique microorganisms from different geographical locations (Low land to high altitudes) of Nepal.
To explore the ethnic knowledge about the use of microorganisms and plants from the different tribes of Nepal and to investigate unique and useful medicinal values.
To investigate the toxicity of various Medicinal/herbal plants which are used in our society.
To develop environmentally friendly bio fertilizer and bio pesticides.
To address the various environmental issues (Water, air, soil, radioactivity, noise).
To conduct training, seminars, workshops, national and international conferences.
