Women in STEAM Club Nepal (WiSC-Nepal) is a dynamic platform dedicated to advancing gender equity in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). We bring together students, researchers, professionals, and allies to support women at every stage of their STEAM journey through networking, mentorship, capacity building, knowledge sharing, and leadership development.
Despite progress in education, women in Nepal remain underrepresented in technical and innovation-driven fields due to gender-biased policies, stereotypes, limited mentorship, and restricted networking. WiSC-Nepal bridges these gaps by creating an inclusive ecosystem that inspires, connects, and empowers girls and women across secondary schools, universities, and professional sectors.
Through strategic partnerships with academic institutions, industry, and development organizations, WiSC-Nepal seeks to build a sustainable national network of women innovators and leaders, contributing to long-term gender equality and strengthening Nepal’s academic and innovation ecosystem.
